Val Nguyen helps drive Anomaly’s dedicated focus of solving complex business challenges and champions effectiveness for our diverse portfolio of clients.
Val’s career has constantly expanded and stretched the bounds of strategy. She most recently served as Chief Strategy Officer at Decoded Advertising for three years before returning to Anomaly New York as Head of Strategy in 2024. No stranger to Anomaly’s change-agent mission, Val previously held positions as a Group Strategy Director and Strategist for the agency throughout her career.
She has spearheaded innovation, upstream brand positioning, and creative campaigns at agencies and consultancies Mother and Wolf & Wilhelmine for clients including Nike, Bacardi, and Microsoft, among others. Client side at Google, she ran the Advanced Technology and Projects group. She has also spent time teaching strategic design at Parsons.
